Flow and fracture in Earth’s crust from microscopic to continental scale and in experiments. Examples may include metamorphic terranes, glaciers, plutons, volcanoes, and consolidated or unconsolidated sediments. Modern concepts of oceanic basins; processes leading to segregation of continental-type rocks.
