Limited to Public Health majors. Not open for credit to students with credit for course 100. Examination of scientific principles and methods of field, as well as translation of science to environmental health practice. Topics include environmental stressors and their health effects, regulations and policy, equity and justice, and systems thinking. Acquisition of skills important for public health professionals, such as application of scientific information to real-world problems and ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.
