Engineering for Systems Assurance

Systems are constructed to perform complex functions and services. How to understand needs of users, analysis of requirements and derived requirements, creation of various system architecture products, and design and integration of various components into systems that perform these functions and services. System assurance addresses confidence that systems meet specified operational requirements based on evidence provided by applying assurance techniques. Introduction, investigation, and analysis of framework of assurance to accomplish total system assurance. Development of secure, reliable, and dependable systems that range from commercial realm such as air traffic control, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and autonomous vehicles to military realm such as command, control, communication, intelligence, and cyber.
