Introduction to Engineering Design: Autonomous Rover

Students use concepts and tools in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science to design and build rovers that operate under wireless control, and can autonomously navigate and respond to environmental cues. Students design robot chassis, connect motors and control/sensory electronics, and program system to map its environment and achieve mission objectives. Student team projects culminate in final competition and oral presentation.
