Food and Colonialism, from Past to Present

Exploration of intersections between colonialism and food, and the continuing legacies of this history in today’s global food system. Students experience parts of this firsthand in their community-engaged work. Students complete 15 to 20 hours of community-engaged work with a designated food-centered community partner in Los Angeles.
