Open to undergraduates with consent of instructor. Designed to expose first-year graduate students to topics of current interest in plant biology. Subjects include plant genetics, growth and development, organelle structure, development and function, and plant-specific metabolic processes (photosynthesis, nitrogen fixation, metabolism of small molecules).
