(Same as Social Science M43.) Introduction to data science in the social sciences with emphasis on the Python programming language. Students learn to read, manipulate, and analyze data. Study of methods used to analyze quantitative data, textual data, and spatial data using real-world data sets. No prior experience in programming and data science required.
