Neuroscience and Education

Introduction to neuroscience methodologies and to various areas of typical and atypical development that are critical in educational contexts such as language acquisition, reading, mathematics, executive functions, and social-emotional skills. Covers how environmental factors can influence these developmental pathways. Through assignments, students practice evaluating and applying neuroscience research within educational settings, allowing them to connect these insights to their specific areas of interest.
