Introduction to Factor Analysis and Item Response Theory

Introduction to linear factor analysis (FA) and item response theory (IRT) models and their uses in research and assessment. Topics include specification, estimation, evaluation, and interpretation of exploratory and confirmatory models. Students use FA and IRT methods to perform range of basic data analyses.
