Experiential Learning in Secondary Classrooms: Technology

Training and supervised practicum for undergraduate mathematics students interested in teaching in secondary classrooms, including working with 7th- through 12th-grade students in school sites. Focus on technology requirements from California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Experts in field lead discussion of issues related to use of technology in classrooms, and learning theories and practices that engage students with diverse needs and interests. Active engagement in reflection on issues in schools in which students work.
