Advanced Topics in Choreography

Directed exploration in composition, with focus on developing theme-based choreographic works that are informed by theoretical engagement with selected topics through lectures, readings, and discussion. Thematic topics include contemporary issues and concerns such as image, essence, and abstraction; home, history, and memory; interculturalism; constructing identity. May be repeated for credit without limitation.
