Course may include texts (or works) by Diderot, Dostoevsky, Flaubert, Goethe, Ibsen, James Joyce, Kafka, Jamaica Kincaid, Garcia Marquez, Rousseau, M. Shelley, Strindberg, Swift, and Voltaire. Consult Schedule of Classes for topics to be offered in specific term. Satisfies Writing II requirement.
