Designed for participants in the Lawson Lab. The Lawson Lab focuses on using in vitro reconstituted translation systems to study mechanisms of translation and RNA decay. Students demonstrate their understanding of research ongoing in the Lawson Lab, and appraise relevant scientific literature. Learning is done through hands-on preparation of presentations about ongoing research projects and providing constructive criticism on others research presentations and journal club presentations.
