Topics in Physical Chemistry
Chemistry and Biochemistry · 4 units · Undergraduate upper division (100-199)
Kinetic theory of gases, principles of statistical mechanics, statistical thermodynamics, equilibrium structure and free energy, macroscopic chemical kinetics. Interaction of radiation with matter, microwave spectroscopy, infrared and Raman spectroscopy, vibrations in polyatomic molecules, electronic spectroscopy.
