Chicana Feminism
Chicana/o and Central American Studies · 4 units · Graduate courses (200-299)
(Same as Gender Studies CM232A.) Examination of theories and practices of women who identify as Chicana feminist. Analysis of writings of Chicanas who do not identify as feminist but whose practices attend to gender inequities faced by Chicanas both within Chicana/Chicano community and dominant society. Attention to Anglo-European and Third World women. Concurrently scheduled with course CM110.
