Preparation for Research in Computational Biology
Computational and Systems Biology · 3 units · Undergraduate lower division (0-99)
Provides students with basic understanding of several computational tools used in molecular biology research. Focus on practical application of these tools rather than deep theoretical understanding. Creates more inclusive and accessible experience for learners. Students are introduced to computational tools for carrying out research in computational biology, including basic statistics, Python, R, and UNIX.
