Equilibrium and kinetic descriptions of chemical behavior of metals and inorganic ions in natural fresh/marine surface waters and in water treatment. Processes include acid-base chemistry and alkalinity (carbonate system), complexation, precipitation/dissolution, absorption oxidation/reduction, and photochemistry.
