Biochemical and genetic factors influencing normal and disease states: structure and metabolism of cellular constituents, intermediary metabolism and its regulation, endocrine and neurobiochemical mechanisms, connective tissue/mineralization. Includes computer laboratory and self-instruction on dietary assessment in dentistry.
