Palestine: A Comparative Ethnic Studies Approach

Examination of Palestinians through interdisciplinary ethnic studies optics and frameworks. Engagement with the question of Palestine from variety of ethnic studies theories and ideas including settler-colonialism and indigenous sovereignty; policing, prison and carceral regimes; class consciousness; war, empire, and imperialism; sexual and gender politics, refugee/migrant activist frameworks; apartheid; and international law and rights-based regimes. Exploration of historic bonds of reciprocal solidarity between Palestinians and oppressed peoples and movements across the world.
