Molecular Anthropology

Introduction to ways in which molecular data are analyzed to answer questions concerning human evolutionary history. Topics include introduction to basic concepts and methods used to understand molecular evolution and origin and history of human species. Students learn principles of population genetics and molecular phylogenetics, and learn how to apply these methods to human and non-human primate DNA sequence data.
