(Same as American Indian Studies M18, Asian American Studies M18, and Chicana/o and Central American Studies M18.) Limited to freshmen/sophomores/first-year transfer students. Not open for credit to students with credit for course M118. Exploration of issues in retention at UCLA through lens of student-initiated and student-run programs, efforts, activities, and services. Focus on populations with historically low graduation rates targeted by Campus Retention Committee. May not be applied toward departmental major or minor elective requirements. May be repeated once for credit.
