Rastafari World Making

Introduction to the theoretical frameworks, methods, and practice-based application of engaging with Rastafari philosophy. Critical examination of literature produced by and about Rastafari in the context of Pan-African movements from the early 20th century to the present. Interdisciplinary and thematic approach draws upon works from Rastafari studies, Africana studies, gender theory, history, music, and film. Special emphasis on Rastafari women community activism.
