Derivation of MHD equations with two fluid aspects, generalized Ohm’s law, small amplitude waves, discontinuities, shock waves, and instabilities. Applications to statics and dynamics of solar wind and planetary magnetospheres and to solar wind/magnetosphere/ionosphere coupling.
