(Same as Earth, Planetary, and Space Sciences M229.) Recommended: Physics 1C. Planetary atmospheric structure and composition, radiative transfer, and climate dynamics. Topics include origin and evolution of atmospheres, paleoclimate of Earth and Mars, atmospheric thermodynamics, plane-parallel radiative transfer, climate dynamics, climate forcings/feedbacks, bifurcation, and climate hysteresis.
