Dynamics of stationary and low-frequency waves in Earth’s atmosphere and ocean with applications to remote impacts of climate variability. Propagation of barotropic and baroclinic Rossby waves in spatially varying flow. Interactions with storm tracks and mean flow. Teleconnection patterns.
